The 2021/22 City Edition Nike jersey serves as a record of some of Denver’s most iconic moments. Since the 1980s, Nuggets basketball’s distinctive symbol has been its digital rainbow pattern and Rocky Mountain scene. Dikembe Mutombo introduced the franchise to it in the early 1990s by using the same typography as the Alex English years of the ’80s. The Mutombo-led 1994 team is honored by the waistband and jersey borders. They were responsible for some of the most bizarre upsets in NBA playoff records.
